I had never used this facility in the past but I had some major issues with my vehicle and I needed to take it somewhere fairly close to home! I called at 7am on a Monday. I dropped off my car around approximately 7:30am. I was greeted by very friendly staff. I received a diagnosis and quote a couple of hours later. My vehicle had a few issues, but we authorized the most critical repairs for now. They ordered parts, made the necessary repairs, and had my vehicle ready by approximately 3:30pm. When I arrived to pickup my vehicle, it had been washed and looked like they had even wiped off my dash and cleaned my windshield! I was very pleased with their attention to my concerns, their friendliness, and their affordability! I would recommend them to anyone! I will be back for the less critical repairs as soon as I am able!

Wowsa! I finally found a place to service my vehicles that is honest, reliable and efficient. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. No one tried to upsell anything-they actually went above and beyond what was necessary. Austin was my technician- he was amazing-I highly recommend him!

Smiths auto shop was the best place to go! Such a God send. They got my car in right away and were extremely helpful and kind. Rusty and Austin know excellent customer service and were extremely accommodating. They gave me a loaner car which was so kind! Highly recommend this shop!

The mechanics at Smith are the best auto repair services I've found in the Pleasant Hill area. Their prices are always fair and I've received higher quotes from other shops multiple times. We had the transmission replaced on our Chevy Tahoe last year and haven't had any issues. They're also my go-to for oil changes. I highly recommend!

Wow charges double what the actual dealers whould charge Price gouge on parts markup as well I would suggest calling your local parts counter before agreeing to pay what they are charging you for parts.

WAY OVER PRICED!!! I was Tricked INTO thinking I was getting my request for the Repairs done for a Price we has Discussed. When I went back to pick up my vehicle, after the work was finished The price had MORE then Doubled. I should have not paid the bill, and 'Protested It".... I was so upset, I just wanted to get Out Of There!! I contacted KARL CHEVROLET, and ask them for an estimate of the work that I had just got done, ( I just ask for an Estimate, they did not know I had already had the work done at "SMITH'S". They "QUOTED" me a Price of ONE HALF the PRICE I had Just Paid for @ "SMITH'S....I then did admit to them after he gave me his Estimate for the work, that I had just had it done, And He was Shocked and had several questions, after Answering his questions, He could not believe what I had just told him. He said, that was TWICE what it should have been...NO MORE COMMENTS FROM ME on my Repairs @ SMITH"S AUTOMOTIVE in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.
