Thank you for sharing your feedback about your unfavorable service and pricing experience with our shop - we sincerely apologize that we were unable to effectively meet your needs as a long-time customer. Hearing that another establishment was able to quote a similar repair job for significantly less was deeply concerning to us, and we will be doing research on current standard pricing for starter replacements to better align with reasonable customer expectations. While overhead costs are a reality of running an established business, that isn't an excuse when someone is clearly finding far better value for comparable services elsewhere in the area. Competitive and fair prices are something we must continue to improve upon. We value all our long-time patrons and never intentionally want someone to feel taken advantage of. Please let us know if there is any way we can rebuild your confidence in the quality, reliability, and affordability you experienced from us for so many years prior to this disappointing visit. We will be evaluating what changed internally so we can make needed improvements.
